Behaviour Problems
Kelly believes that domestic horses living on typical stable yards should be viewed as ‘fish out of water’. The problems that owners experience, often occur because the horse is having difficulty adapting to domesticated life.
Examples of behaviour problems that Kelly can resolve include:
- refusal to trailer load
- napping in hand or under saddle
- aggression towards humans or other horses
- needing to be sedated for farrier/dentist or vet visits
- needing to be sedated for clipping
- biting when the girth is tightened and refusal to accept the bit when being bridled
- reduction of stereotypical behaviour
- separation anxiety
